Congratulations to the CMS Academic team for their outstanding results during 1st semester.

The team went undefeated at the DeKalb County Championship on December 14 to take 1st place! The team will go on to compete at the PAGE Regional Championship in January.

The 8th grade team also took home the second place trophy at the Duluth Middle School tournament on December 7 (out of 32) teams and the third place trophy at the Collins Hill Middle School tournament in November (out of 60 teams).

Through their outstanding performance this semester, the academic team has qualified two teams for the Middle School Nationals in Dallas, TX, in May.
